European Committee of Veterinary Education (ECOVE), who met on 14 December 2021, established the Evaluation result based on the ESEVT full Visitation to Bila Tserkva Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on 04 - 08 October 2021 (described in the Visitation Report)

The Committee concluded that no Major Deficiencies had been found.

In accordance with the European System of Evaluation of Veterinary Training (ESEVT)

and based on the educational requirements of the Directive 2005/36/EC as amended by Directive 2013/55/EU,
the status of the VEE of the Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University is

ACCREDITATION

In line with the ESEVT SOP, the status will be valid for 7 years from the date of the Visitation, i.e. until the end of October 2028

On the national level the Faculty:

has a License from the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine to teach veterinarians (DVM) on Master Degree

 has Accreditation from The National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance (Ukraine)

Community Engagement: BNAU Veterinary Students Lead Rabies Awareness Survey in Bila Tserkva

📢 Students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bila Tserkva NAU, according to the practice programme on the subject "Zoonoses and the concept of One Health", are conducting a survey of residents of Bila Tserkva on rabies awareness. This is also part of a scientific and educational project of the Department of Epizootology and Infectious Diseases.

🔍 Students interview city residents to find out their knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding rabies vaccination and protection of people from this deadly disease. They are also conducting explanatory work.

Hands-On Learning: 2nd Year Students Enhance Dog Training Skills at Last Hathy with Expert Guidance

Practical Training for Students at Bila Tserkva NAU: Bridging Theory and Practice in Animal Husbandry and Parasitological Research

In order to consolidate their theoretical knowledge, students underwent clinical practice at the training and production centre of the Bila Tserkva NAU and other animal husbandry facilities, including a poultry farm and the Oleksandria Museum of Wildlife Flora and Fauna LLC in Bila Tserkva. Hands-On Learning: Mastering Obstetric and Gynecological Diagnoses in Herd Health Management

As part of the programme of educational practice in the discipline "Obstetrics, Gynaecology with the basics of andrology", a medical examination of the herd of repair heifers of the Bila Tserkva NAU was carried out.

Exploring Frontiers in Dairy Reproduction: Insights from the International Summit in Turkey

During the period from 25 to 27 April, the assistant of the Department of Obstetrics and Animal Reproduction Biotechnology, Andrii Lasiiichuk, took part in the International Dairy Summit held in Turkey.
The following topics were discussed during the event:
1) Why is reproduction important? Economic impact.
2) New approaches in cow and heifer synchronisation protocols
3) The latest technologies in reproduction 
4) Modern protocols of work in the transit period
5) Methods to improve reproduction performance under heat stress.

Spring Rabies Vaccination Campaign: BNAU Veterinary Medicine Students Join Forces with District Hospitals

Specialists of district state hospitals in the Kyiv region continue the spring rabies vaccination campaign 🐈 🐕 against rabies 💉. 

Traditionally, students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Bila Tserkva National Agrarian University are involved in carrying out protopizootic activities in the districts.

Under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Epizootology and Infectious Diseases, future veterinarians gain practical skills in organising and implementing anti-epizootic measures.

Exploring Food Safety: BNAU Students Tour Bila Tserkva City State Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine

🔻 Today, on the occasion of the clinical practice in the discipline "Food Safety and Quality", students of the 4th (M) year of the 3rd group visited the Bila Tserkva City State Laboratory of Veterinary Medicine, where raw materials, food products are examined, as well as a separate pathomorphology department, where blood, urine, other natural fluids, bedding, feed, corpses (for postmortem diagnosis) are examined.

The students learnt about the rules of conduct in the laboratory, safety, biosafety, and work organisation.
