Advancing Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine: Successful Event Held in Collaboration with BNAU

On December 2, 2024, on the basis of LLC "Museum of Wildlife of Flora and Fauna Oleksandria" (a branch of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine), the staff of the Levchenko Department of Propedeutics and Medicine of Internal Diseases of Animals and Poultry and the Department of Normal and Pathological Animal Physiology of the Bila Tserkva National Academy of Sciences, together with a Ukrainian company engaged in research in the field of artificial intelligence, held a successful event dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence in animal husbandry, in particular, veterinary medicine.
The faculty continues to conduct large-scale research on animal husbandry technology, animal behavior, and the development of early and most informative methods for diagnosing and preventing internal and metabolic diseases of animals and poultry using modern digital innovations. This work involved the study of animal behavior using video surveillance systems installed in the respective enclosures. This will allow to observe animals in real time in their natural habitat, obtain detailed data on feeding, sleeping, motor activity, peculiarities of natural photoperiodicity, etc.
We are grateful to Oleksandriia Wildlife Museum of Flora and Fauna LLC for the opportunity to gain invaluable experience in implementing our research projects.
